TheYamaha RBX 170 is Yamaha's lowest-priced bass guitar and features a solid Agathis body, versatile Precison / Jazz style pickups. No doubt that the Yamaha RBX170 is a great value, but it's a superb bass guitar as well. Yamaha builds some incredible high-end basses for professional artists as varied as Michael Anthony of Van Halen, Nathan East and John Patitucci and even the RBX benefits from all of Yamaha's experience and expertise. Other features include a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, and chrome hardware.
